Face/Off es una de las mejores películas de acción de la historia. En 2019, Paramount Pictures anunció que había decidido continuar con la saga y luego aclaró que la película será una secuela y no un remake. Nicolas Cage, quien coprotagonizó con John Travolta la película original de 1997, detalló recientemente cuál será la historia aparentemente loca de Face/Off 2.

Según el actor, la secuela no solo lo verá a él y a Travolta en sus respectivos papeles de Castor Troy y Sean Archer, sino también a sus hijos reales: “Creo que Face/Off 2 es una secuela que se presta a muchos giros y imprevisibilidad“.

“Castor y Sean tienen hijos que han crecido y al unirse a ellos la historia se convierte en un tablero de ajedrez tridimensional: no somos solo nosotros dos, John Travolta y yo, somos cuatro ‘jugando al ping-pong’ en diferentes niveles haciendo todo aún más complejo. Creo que es un terreno muy fértil. Por otro lado, solo he tenido una reunión en una oficina hasta ahora y no he sabido nada desde entonces, así que no lo sé”, concluyó Nicolas Cage.
